Principal's Bio

My name is Debbie Sheron. This will be my 8th year as a principal but  I was a teacher for much longer.  I started my teaching career at McCrary Elementary in Asheboro.  I moved to Franklinville School where I taught 4th grade and transitioned to AIG, lead teacher, and finally Assistant Principal over the course of 13 years. After serving as principal of Level Cross Elementary for 5 years, I returned to Franklinville to serve as Principal.

Franklinville is my home. I moved to the Franklinville area when I was 12 years old and attended Franklinville as a student in the 8th grade. I am a graduate of Eastern Randolph High School, (Go Wildcats!), UNCG, and WCU. My children attended Franklinville. In fact, my entire family  played basketball as a child on the same gym floor including my husband, Tim.  I truly am a Cardinal at heart. The Franklinville community is very special to me. I am so thankful to give back to the community that raised me.

Children and learning are my passion. It is my goal that every child want to come to school each day because it is safe, fun, and engaging. That's how it should be! Parents are such an important part of what we do. You know your child better than anyone. I truly belive that by working together we can meet the needs of your child and make learning fun! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to e-mail me at or reach me by phone at (336) 824-2306.
