Community

Franklinville is former textile mill village located on the banks of the Deep River.  Centrally located in North Carolina and Randolph County, Franklinville is a small historical community with a population of approximately 1,200.

 

School

The first Franklinville school opened as a one room structure in 1845. Since that time there have been four buildings. The current building was built in 1954 and is a comprehensive public school with an enrollment of approximately 313 students in grades K-5. Franklinville Elementary is accredited by Advanced Education.
