This week third grade started learning about the skeletal system! Today, we created models showing what makes up our bones. Students worked to cover “bone marrow” in spongy bone (straws) and then wrap it in compact bone (paper). We’re so excited to add what we learned about the muscular system to our working model next week!

We were excited to have our superintendent Dr. Gainey join our 3rd graders for a read aloud! Thank you for visiting us today!
