Today was the first day of the 2024-2025 school for the Randolph County School System. It was a great day!
First day of school August 26, 2024. Students arriving before 7:50 report to the gym or cafeteria. All students report to Homeroom at 8 am.

PGHS Open House
Tuesday evening, August 6, RCSS had the privilege of celebrating with the 18 Apprenticeship NC registered apprentices and 8 graduates at the 8th Annual Signing and 2024 Graduation Ceremony at Randolph Community College.
Congratulations are also in order to our very own 2024 Apprenticeship Ambassador, Ms. Poppy Cox, Career Development Coordinator of Randleman High School. Thank you Ms. Cox for your promotion and steadfast commitment to making AR a great opportunity for students.

Parking passes will go on sale next week! Stop by the main office on your assigned day to purchase your pass for the 2024-2025 school year! You must have your driver’s license and license plate number. Passes are $25 per year.
Schedule Pickup : Student schedule pickup will take place next week -- students come by on your allotted day and pick up your schedule in the front office - Seniors: Mon August 12th.- 8:30-11:30 am & 1:30- 4:30 pm - Juniors: Tue August 13th 8:30-11:30 am & 1:30- 4:30 pm - Sophomores: Wed August 14th 8:30-11:30am & 1:30- 4:30 pm - Freshman students will receive schedules during Open House on August 21st beginning at 5:30 pm till 7:00 pm
WFMY is conducting its Tools for Schools now through September 9th.

Providence Grove High School FFA Patriot Hunter Safety Team members competed at the Central Regional Youth Hunter Education Challenge on July 24-July 27 in Bentonville, Arkansas. This challenging competition is one of the two national hunter-safety competitions in the United States. Senior team members are Christian Swaim, Austin Williams, Jacob Bowman, Troy Blakley, Cooper Wright, Will Coble, and Amelia Lackey. We also had two juniors from Randolph County compete, Tyler Williams and Jason Bowman. The senior team placed sixth overall, third place on the test, second in rifle, and second in shotgun. Individually, Austin Williams placed first in rifle and second in pistol. Jacob Bowman placed first in senior pistol, and Tyler Williams placed first in junior pistol. The team appreciates the support from the county, school system, community, parents, coaches, and the students' success.
