Franklinville is bringing back Field Trip shirts. These shirts will be available for purchase at Open House on August 20th. Additional shirts may also be purchased for families and community members.

Our Franklinville Elementary team kicked off the school year with a strong focus on instructional excellence from day one! During our opening staff meeting, staff engaged in professional development centered around the Randolph County School System Instructional Framework. Together, our team explored how we can intentionally provide instruction that is rigorous, relevant, and responsive to meet the needs of every students daily! We are excited to see our staff put these principles into action as we create meaningful learning experiences, challenge students to grow, and respond to their individual needs throughout the school year. The Cardinal team is ready to make a difference—starting on Day One! ❤️🤍

This school year, students in all 17 elementary schools, all 6 middle schools and Eastern Randolph High School will be provided meals at no cost through the Community Eligibility Program. No free or reduced-price meal application is required for students attending these schools.

Meal prices for non-Community Eligibility schools, which includes all other high schools, are $1.25 for breakfast and $2.45 for lunch. If you believe your family would qualify for a reduced-price meal benefit, apply online at www.lunchapplication.com

If your family received a notification letter stating that all of your students are approved for meal benefits for the 2026-2027 school year, no application is required to be completed. Contact School Nutrition Services if any of your student's names are not listed on the letter.

If you have any questions about free and reduced-price meal benefits, the application process, or the Community Eligibility program, please call School Nutrition Services at 336-633-5130.

At Monday evening’s meeting, the Randolph County Board of Commissioners approved a significant increase in local funding for the Randolph County School System for the 2026–2027 school year. This investment reflects a strong commitment to supporting student success and strengthening educational opportunities across our school system.

The leadership of our school system extends our sincere appreciation to the County Commissioners for their continued support of our schools, staff, and students. We also thank the members of the Board of Education for their dedication, leadership, and hard work throughout the budget development process. The collaborative efforts of these two groups of elected officials have helped secure important resources that will benefit the students in the Randolph County School System.
