Congratulations to 4th grader Nicolas on winning the Randolph County School System District Spelling Bee this afternoon! We are so proud of him and his accomplishment. He faced every word with a calm and collected demeanor. He represented Franklinville well and showed our SOAR expectations to all of the other participants. Now he is on to tackle the next level of the Spelling Bee in Charlotte.

Kindergarten Registration will be held on March 10th from 5:00-7:00 pm. If you have a child that will be 5 on or before August 31, 2026, we look forward to having your child in kindergarten next year!

At last night's Board of Education meeting, the following changes were made to the calendar for the 2025-2026 school year:

🌟🚌 Bus Driver Appreciation Week at Franklinville Elementary 🚌🌟
This week, we proudly celebrate the amazing bus drivers who safely transport our students each day with care, patience, and a smile. You are often the first friendly face our students see in the morning and the last one they see in the afternoon — and your impact matters more than you know.
Thank you for keeping our Cardinals safe, building positive connections with our families, and helping each school day begin and end on a great note. ❤️
Franklinville Elementary appreciates you today and every day! #BusDriverAppreciationWeek

Tomorrow (1/26/26) is not a remote learning day for the RCSS. Tomorrow (1/26/26) will be our first day missed which is a built in weather day. We will not use the remote packets unless we use all five built in days. In the event we need to use a remote day, Dr. Gainey will state that on the alert call he sends out. Remote packets were sent home Friday (1/23/26) in the event we use all five days this week and need to start remote days next week.
